01Operator and scope

This policy describes the handling of personal information in BeBe Tracker (the ‘app’), provided by Vernals. The app helps caregivers keep feeding, daily care and growth records for their babies. This policy covers local records, accounts, online synchronization, family sharing and support requests.

02Information and purposes

  • Baby profiles: name or nickname, date of birth, sex and an optional profile photo, used to organize records and display growth information for each baby.
  • Care records: nursing, pumping, formula, solid food, sleep, diapers, baths and temperature; times, quantities and durations; height, weight, vaccinations, notes and tags. Used for record management, statistics and reference information.
  • Account information: email, display name, sign-in method, registration date, account identifier, email verification and authentication information. Email registration processes a password; Google sign-in uses account identifiers and authentication tokens supplied by Google.
  • Synchronization information: device and family identifiers, device names, credentials, family membership, invitation codes and record changes, used for synchronization and family sharing.
  • Support information: your message and an optional reply email, used to receive and respond to your request.
  • Settings and usage information: language, units, alarms and other preferences; device and app information and usage events processed through service access or SDKs. Used to maintain preferences, operate and analyze the service, and provide advertising as described below.

You provide records and support messages directly. Authentication, synchronization and third-party SDK processing occur when those features operate. Without information necessary for a feature, that feature may be unavailable.

03Local storage and online synchronization

Care records and preferences are stored on your device. In online mode, records covered by synchronization are synchronized with a family space on the server. Local-only mode does not synchronize care records to the server.

Local-only mode does not necessarily disable every network connection or analytics SDK. Operating-system backups may be handled separately according to your Apple or Google account and device settings.

04Family sharing and external services

Members of a family space can access the baby profiles and care records shared in that space. Share invitation codes only with trusted caregivers and manage members and invitation codes in family settings. Deleting a record cannot recall copies already saved by other people.

The app includes Google sign-in, Google AdMob advertising and Firebase-based analytics. The following section describes processing and available choices. Hosting and email providers, third-party disclosures and international transfer details—including recipients, countries, data, purposes, timing, methods, retention and refusal options—will be finalized after the operating configuration is confirmed.

05Advertising, analytics and choices

Online mode may display Google AdMob or sponsored advertising. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses, device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information. The app does not include baby names or care records as custom targeting parameters in ad requests.

Where the advertising privacy options screen is available, you can change choices in app settings. You can also use your operating system's advertising identifier and tracking settings. These choices may affect ad personalization. Local-only mode does not request timeline advertisements.

The Android app includes Firebase initialization and the Analytics SDK, which may automatically process app usage events and device and app information. Actual collection settings, retention and the opt-out procedure will be confirmed before the final policy is published.

This legal webpage uses Google Analytics to analyze visits and usage. The web server may process access information when serving the page.

06Children and health-related information

The app is a record-keeping service for caregivers and is not intended for children to register directly. Anyone entering or sharing a child's information must be the legal guardian or a caregiver with the necessary authority.

Temperature, growth and vaccination records may be sensitive health information. Enter only what is necessary and choose sharing recipients carefully. Processing that requires guardian consent or separate consent for sensitive information must meet those requirements; viewing this policy alone does not constitute consent.

07Device permissions

  • Photo selection: an image you choose is used for a baby's optional profile photo.
  • Notifications and alarms: used for care reminders and nursing timer status. You can change permissions in operating-system settings.
  • Lock screen: nursing duration and related information may appear in notifications or Live Activities. Check notification previews and lock-screen settings on your device.

Declining an optional permission does not prevent use of recording features that do not require it.

08Retention and deletion

You can manage on-device information by deleting records or profiles in the app or removing app data. Manage device backups and exported copies separately. Uninstalling the app does not delete server accounts or shared records.

Account deletion removes account information and clears care records on the device used for deletion. Records shared in another family space may remain there. A family owner must remove other members before deleting their account.

Specific retention periods, deletion schedules and methods for server backups, synchronization deletion history, support messages, access logs and analytics, as well as any statutory retention requirements, remain subject to confirmation of operating policy. No unverified retention period or immediate permanent erasure is promised.

09Your rights and guardian requests

Users and authorized legal guardians may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent. You can edit or delete profiles, records and account details in the app and use the account deletion feature in settings.

For requests you cannot complete yourself, use the app's feedback feature and include an email if you would like a reply. We may request information necessary to verify identity or authority. If applicable law limits a request, the reason will be explained.

10Safeguards

Server communications use HTTPS and access is checked through account authentication and family-space permissions. Keep your device locked and operating system updated, and protect passwords and invitation codes. Additional operational safeguards will be included in the final policy after their implementation is confirmed.

11Privacy contact

Operator: Vernals. The currently available contact route is the feedback feature in the app.

The privacy officer or responsible department and external email or telephone contact are awaiting confirmation. An external contact for people unable to access the app will also be finalized before formal publication.

12Changes and effective date

Changes to purposes, information categories or providers will be communicated on this page and through in-app notices where needed. Changes requiring separate consent will follow the applicable process.

This is a draft prepared on September 27, 2026; its effective date has not been set. The language versions are intended to convey the same information.
